Two days in which to explore the boundaries and possibilities of drawing. From the figurative to the abstract we will use a wide range of materials and methods to answer the question, 'What do we mean by drawing'?

We will explore the theory as well as the practice with a view to building confidence and knowledge around the pursuit of what we call expressive drawing.

 

Please bring the following materials;

brushes

acrylic paint

black ink

sketchbook (for notes and mark making)

sponge

rag

rubber gloves (washing up)

palette knives

thick graphite pencil

pva

 

You will also need;

packed lunch

old clothes or apron
